Grace O’Malleys Open Mic Night is excellent. Hosted by the incredibly talented Tim Hicks I highly recommend checking it out. If you are interested in singing your music or covers this is a great place to go. It is an awesome venue and you are guaranteed to have a fun night. Not just for solo performers, I have gone as a group of four to have the opportunity to sing our songs with harmonies. Go and check it out and then see what you might like to do! The 5th floor of the library is a sea of sheet music. I highly recommend making a trip to the library and exploring this endless resource. They also have aisles and aisles of monologues and plays if you are an actor, as well as an audio section where you can listen to pretty much every album ever recorded. The Reference Library is located at 789 Yonge Street.
